The building
The Hotel Posta is located in the “Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo”, a medieval building that has been a hotel for over five centuries. In 1200, it was the residence of the people’s Captain and in 1400 home of Sigismondo d’Este; it became an inn called “Red Hat Inn” in 1515. Eight centuries of history that made it one of the most important sights in town !
