A prestigious operation, carried out by the
Mantegazza Studio, brought back the Palace Hotel, on the Lungo
Lago Trieste, to the old splendour. Located in the heart of
the city in the front rank on the lake with a priceless view,
the hotel has all the facilities to become one of the most
loved aims of the national tourism and for the international
one.
One hundred bedrooms, halls for parties, conventions, meetings,
banquets were made out of the old structure of the Pianella
with a portion of the Plinius Hotel.Stucco
work from Venetia and marble, ancient furniture and boiseries,
suffused lights and comfortable and quiet rooms: the four
stars are well deserved, also considering the service which
is punctual and efficient.
Today,
the Hotel organisation is particularly planned in accordance
with the needs of the business or the congress tourism; by
the renewal we took into particular consideration the carrying
out of suitable and polyvalent rooms: the Great Hall can accommodate
200 people, the Gloria Hall has a capacity of 100 people parterre
and, besides, other three rooms for little groups. Every hall
is equipped with closed circuit TV, lightboard, laser ray,
video-projector with big screen, simultaneous translation,
secretary, air-conditioning. The plant is very modern and
equipped with an amplification system and radiomicrophones.
The strategic
location of the hotel, along with the admittance and parking
facilities (there are a hundred parking places of which seventy
are indoor) are another point to our advantage.
And what
about free time?
We have
a "package" of possibilities for tours on the lake
or evening parties at Casino of Campione; moreover, for our
guests there is the possibility to go to the famous restaurant
"Imbarcadero" in Piazza Cavour and to stay at one
of the "pearls" of the lake, the Grand Hotel Victoria
in Menaggio, which is related to our Palace Hotel.
Furthermore,
the old "Ceccato" ice-cream parlour, which is next
to the hotel and overlooking the lake, has been renewed: it
is an exclusive piano-bar and a comfortable winter garden
where it’s possible to eat the traditional ice-cream
with the taste of old days.
